7.20.2008 Shameful confession

My 2nd meal in Japan was Wendy's.

Taiwan has all sorts of Western fast food but what they don't have is my favorite burger joint. Han and I were walking around on our first full day in Tokyo looking for some brunch. We turned a corner and I screamed "WENDYS!!!!!!!!!"

Han has the metabolism of a teenager so he has not problem eating junk food at any hour.

Wendy's was my "last meal" before I left Canada last time too (thanks Louis!). I promised myself I'll only do it once more before I leave.

haha, japan is insanity. the whole area (jap/kor) is just gadget crazy, polite crazy, and public transportation crazy. crazy crazy crazy. so lucky to spend 21days in japan. I BOIL IN ENVY.

cat, i hear ya!!! i miss wendy's so much! the first time i took my wife to canada, i made sure to take her to wendy's and she loved it as well.

Fast food can sometimes be quite tasty. In Japan my first meal was actually at Mr. Donut. Not necessarily because of the food but because of the familiarity. Once I got a bit more used to the culture I started to sample more interesting and tasty local cuisine.
